I believe we’re ready to begin saying goodbye to Bolivia – our home for the past two years – with a big THANK YOU! 😮
Help others enjoy what you found here!!
Welcome! Here I am, 'releasing' my thoughts on traveling, parenting, raising TCKs, teaching, writing, working... and who knows what else! I’m a WIFE, 'geeky-stuff' SCIENTIST, TEACHER, AMATEUR photographer, MOM of 3, TRAVELER by choice and by marriage, and of course, a HOUSEHOLD QUEEN!!

Charles & I got to see the beauty of Bolivia through your photos & writing … thanks for sharing
Thank you very much, Cherise. One week left at Post…
the photos are lovely, and i have loved seeing bolivia through your eyes and lens.
i’ve been absent a lot in the past year, solely due to slim internet options.
enjoy the last moments with your loved ones there, who are surely torn to see you leave. they say it’s easier to move on than it is to be left behind, but wow, our circle of friends grows larger when we continue to move to new areas.
lisa/z from ecuador
WOW, Lisa! Thank you so much for the very kind words, and for the support, always welcomed in this type of lifestyle, where one works and lives with the Foreign Service, without a clear separation… 😮 Take care, Raquel.
i have many new friends in ecuador who arrived like you and your family did, and they remained here to raise families/open businesses, etc. i’m blessed to cross paths with so many great unselfish people!
good luck again, and i’ll be watching and waiting for the next chapter!
wow, how time flies! give a big hug to La Paz from us and especially to Vicky and Florencia. I miss them everyday!
Thanks! After a very long silence, and with the pack-out just finished, decided to come back to the blog? I saw you last post… 34 weeks, right? 😮 Very exciting!!!!! Hugs and much love from Los Mirandas!
