Gorgeous photos! I definitely want to go here! Perhaps you have already stated it in one of your previous posts about the Salar de Uyuni and I just missed it, but did you use a tour agency to see the Salar, or did you go on your own? And if you did use a tour agency, which one did you use? I want to visit the Salar on a 3 day/2 night tour next January and would really welcome any advice you have to give since it looks like your family had a wonderful time!

Thanks for stopping by and for your interest – yes, we used a tour company, directly from Uyuni – will search our records and update this comment. But we moved away from using travel agencies here in La Paz – got the air tickets on our own, directly from Amazsonas. It was the easiest, least expensive and totally worthy way of doing it – for 2 families, 11 people in total! Will get back to you as soon as I’ve collected the info you need – in the meantime, glad you enjoyed the post – feel free to browse thru the other ones, regarding the Laguna Colorada [red lagoon], train cemetery, sunset and sunrise in the desert… 😮 Take care!
