Getting ready for Carnaval! {or Esquentando os Tamborins Part II}
So, here we are, a week before the largest celebration this country is capable of displaying: Carnival or, how we say it Brazil, “Carnaval”… Well, not a week from today, but from last Saturday, February 11th, when these pictures were taken from our veranda… People really can’t wait for the real fun to be here…
streets taken by the crowdThe parade moves on, enchanting tourists and beach-goers!

Oh… thank you very much, agogo22! What an honor! You should also check my other (longer, several photos) post about the World’s Largest Street Carnival, right here, in Recife & Olinda, where over 1,7 million people take up on the streets of the city dancing and following the Galo da Madrugada! I can’t wait to get more photos this weekend and update the images!!! Maybe, there’ll be 2 million people there this Saturday? Who knows?! 😮
