Great Bidding Victory! Guess where we’re going?!

The illusion of two hands together reaching up to the sky creates the Metropolitan Cathedral
The founder, President JK

This city is well-known for its unique architecture, and the use of other media, like the water, to create architectural and sculptural illusions. Here is a bit of the city, showing that, even with the lack of focus on the main feature, the city constructions and its urban art remain unique, powerful and fabulous!

Have you guessed where will be heading out to next Summer? 😮

  1. Time really flies, seems like a few weeks ago we took the kids to the playground nearby Paco’s house. And watched the movers come by and take the portable basketball hoop & etc

    1. Thank you very much, Cherise – we’re very excited, and the job seems to be a great opportunity for Chico… let’s wait and see – he’s very happy, and we’re proud… couldn’t have been better! Take care and hugs from all the Mirandas down here!

  3. It is going to be fascinating to have your take on this controversial city. My personal view is that the critics are mean-minded grubby little individuals who would like to drag everything down to the same level, and that the creators were visionaries.

    1. Very interesting comment, Colonialist – and much appreciated! We use to say there are only two kinds of people when it comes to opinions/comments about Brasilia: the ones who love/loved the city, and would go back on a heartbeat; and the ones who hated/hate/never gave the city a chance to show them its true self… That said, the opinions are definitely opposed and strongly defined: Brasilia is a horrible place to live X Brasilia being a great and unique place… Let’s wait and see what this new judge [me!], will say, coming back to my hometown after having left if some 20 years ago!
