I’ve been blogging for exactly 22 months [the first post went live on March 11, 2011, about the Largest Street Carnaval in Brazil – and apparently, it didn’t take long to be picked up by Pop Pressed‘s radar, on March 2011. Link here for full post].

A bit of Math here [and my former Algebra students who thought they were free from this!]: The chances of being Freshly Pressed are, on any given day, about 12 per million. Well, considering that just happened for the second time, it brings the odds to… 1 in 6,400,000,000
Maybe I should move on to playing the lottery?!

Oh, of course you will/your blog will get Freshly Pressed… it’s just a question of time… one never knows what type of style, interest, what kind of post the guys at WP are looking for… sometimes it’s photography, travel, personal stories… other times, it’s all about food, recipes, interviews with chefs… I’ve also seen personal takes on world news, recent stories… That said, that’s such a broad spectrum of possibilities… My suggestion to you: keep on blogging, writing, sharing… and one day, it’ll happen… Also, don’t forget: associated with WP there are the Pop Pressed and the Eco Press… as the names indicate, one is for pop culture, arts and related stuff and the second one for nature, ecology, sustainable ideas… Thank you so much for taking the time to stop by and check this particular post out – I’m very happy with all this positive feedback… and, will keep on blogging!
