Weekly Photo Challenge: Two Subjects

“Two Subjects”. That’s the inspiration for this week’s photo challenge from WordPressThis “theme” is more of a composition challenge, than the usual single themes we’re used to post about. Let’s see how this week’s compositions turn out… mix of natural and man-made two-subject themes…

  1. I love the contrast between the shells and the twigs – smooth, linear, and light strings of shells against the rough, round, and dark twigs. Also, the sunset photo of the 2000 Jubilee is beautiful!

    1. Thank you, Sunshine! The hippo picture is from the Brennand Museum & Castle, [https://3rdculturechildren.com/2012/04/02/gardens-sculptures-brennand/] here in Recife, Brazil… we went on a visit recently, with another expat family, and kids fell in love with the place! Thanks for stopping by! 😮

    1. Thank you very much, Aylet! It’s great to see different opinions, different tastes… that’s exactly what photography should do: inspire distinct feelings/impressions on people… Thanks for your thoughts! 😮

      1. Absolutely… I myself have beautiful photos of mosques in Mozambique, muslin ladies (Mozambique Island), Indonesian ceremonies, catholic events… a good photograph should transcend social/religious barriers, right? 😮

    1. I totally agree! The intention was not religious… but I loved the image of the old church (2nd plane) with the Jubilee Cross in front of it (1st plane)… really liked the composition… Thanks for sharing your impressions, Jeff! 😮
