Weekly Photo Challenge: Arranged

30 Mar

“Arranged”. That’s the inspiration for this week’s photo challenge from WordPress And the interesting part is that the images are part of one of our current projects: A Hanging Garden with school children, inspired by the Babylon Hanging Gardens, but using recycled materials, as PET bottles, coconut fiber (to build the planters), cost-free watering system and donated seeds… “Get involved, get “green”, get together”!

Not the Hanging Gardens of Babylon, but...

"Making sure they're all PERFECTLY ARRANGED"!

Very cool idea – maybe something to try with the grandtwins next summer…

Please feel free to do so! I do need to update the “hanging garden” post… Got new images of newly emerged seedlings, elementary children “investigating” the progress of the project with their “very-scientific-eyes” and magnifiers, and the transversal work with Math students, calculating the necessary volume of cost-free water for the whole garden… Need to find some time this week to work on that. More hours in a day, please! :o Thanks for your interest, BTW!

Thank you, SanVar! Thanks for taking the time to stop by and check the photos! The Weekly Challenge is a great way to share ideas and experiences. This one, is part of a larger project from our School’s EcoClub, and, being a Biologist/teacher/advisor, it’s my responsibility to make sure the message of “reduce-reuse-recycle” is getting across the student body… Going “green” for a much better future… A simple cost-free project!
