The inspiration for this week’s challenge is “Contrast”, and here I’m, sharing a very recent image that represents a lot of contrast: the end of the day, beginning of the evening; the dark colors from the previously light sky, kindly kissing the calm ocean waters, introducing the night to observers and by-passers…
And, if you’re curious to know how this scene would look during the day, here’s another contrast: the ‘earth-colored sky’ is replaced by a paradisiac blue sky, which is reflected onto the turquoise and green waters…. from a far away view, I’m bringing you all to a closer look at the “Morro Dois Irmãos”(Two Brother’s Hill)
So, do you prefer the “sunset view” or the “daytime view”? I’m totally bias, because I’m deeply in love with the main island, but I’m leaving the question here!

It’s so hard to choose! I love the sky in the first photo, but the water in the second photo, and the textures are wonderful.

I like the sunset photo better, but both are beautiful. They remind me of visiting Capri in Italy and looking down at the stacks in the amazingly aqua water.

Sunset, those are the colors that appeal to me, the other is wonderful as well but if I have to choose it’s too cheery for me.

I think both photos are stunning, but my favourite is the sunset shot. I think sunsets have such magical qualities, they transform even the most ordinary view into something special. Not that this view is ordinary in any way.
Thanks for sharing them

Brilliant images! I definitely love the first one more, but I love the burst of colour in the scene shot during the day. I think the rocks/formations are too imposing and scary in the second photo where as the sunset version has a great perspective and the colours set a sort of.. atmosphere, I suppose..
I’m probably not making any sense, haha, but the first I think shows the scene at it’s best. Both of the photos are amazing though. A great choice for this week!

Interesting take… They’re called two brothers… From Far away, one gets the impression they’re the same size… From closer look, you can tell the incredible difference… But they’re both gigantic and magnificent! Thanks for commenting, Pavitra!
